FUTURE URBAN DEVELOPMENT AREA (FUDA) PLANNING: The City of Middleton, Town of Springfield, Town of Westport and Village of Waunakee are working together with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission to plan for future urban development over the next 25 years. We just completed a series of meetings where residents took a Visual Preference Survey to share their view on what kinds of development is most appropriate for the area.

Free ID Card to VOTE Starts Friday July 1st

The State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation will begin to issue free state issued identification cards to any eligible voter that makes the request for the free ID “for purposes of voting”. If you are a regular voter that does not have a valid driver’s license or current state issued identification, you may want to take the opportunity to receive that free identification card soon to avoid the rush at election time. You cannot have a current driver’s license and receive a free state ID.

Town of Westport Seniors:  When using the Waunakee Senior Center, please let them know that you are a Westport resident, not a Waunakee resident even though your address may say Waunakee.  This helps to get an accurate count.  Thank you.
